, I went to see Bellowhead on Saturday they were good.I'm nearly 62 mate. Been calling it tea since I was a nipper as did my parents who were both born in 1921.When did the English start calling supper tea? I mean tea is that stuff in a bag you blend with water and is a nice drink. I mean you wouldn’t say you feel like supper and expect someone to make you a cup of tea!
Do you remember the American cartoon Wait till your father gets home. Brilliant. Was it sergeant Whittaker, the granny on the look out for Commies ?Playing in the street, "Gerrin, your tea is on the table, getting cold".
Usually followed by "Wait till Dad comes home".
Different days.
Were you 6?Growing up tea was about 4.30, supper around 7.30 was a drink of Ovaltine and a biscuit.
Rice pudding and jam was our supper.Supper is for posh folks. I used to deal with an HR manager who was based inthe Plymouth office. She had a double-barrelled name , was a nice woman but very posh. She was always telling me she was going out for supper. In my house, supper is a couple of crumpets or a piece of toast!
She still couldn't sing mate. I saw them in Eric's, must have been 78 as I remember still being under 18 and they were knocking some lads back if they looked underage. Not the girls like? but there weren't many of them anyway. It was mainly lads. They played 1 song where it sounded like Donald Duck was singing? That was Jayne Casey, she was also in Pink Military Stand Alone. She was involved with the 2008 City of Culture campaign
Was it good. I heard they weren't loud enough.Did you go to the Deaf School gig?
You mentioned an electric fence before and now a gate guard. Do you live in a complex? Like a gated community sort of thing?Sucks about the arm man!! My TT buddie here is going through the same thing.. hasn’t played for two months. Really hope it’s not a permanent issue!!
On the phlegmatic but I Can’t say I was too calm when I realised what had happened.. was really angry.. and astonished to be honest that they could do it without us waking up.
We have upped the security now and have a gate guard. It sucks but Botswana is so high in crime it’s like we living in SA again !
Said Spingo. Best beer in the world in my considered opinion

We seemed to play football morning noon and night in matches that never actually ended just faces would change as they went in for tea and came back out again.Playing in the street, "Gerrin, your tea is on the table, getting cold".
Usually followed by "Wait till Dad comes home".
Different days.
Lunch is another one mate , I don't have lunch that's me dinner and later on me tea.I'm nearly 62 mate. Been calling it tea since I was a nipper as did my parents who were both born in 1921.
Supper is something you have with Horlicks before going to bed.
2 max normally. Before I go on the wine. Just had the 1 tonight whilst I was cooking.6.6%…you won’t be having many of those…..
No .. we used to.. but moved into town last year.. it does come with higher crime but way more convenient compared to where we were. You mentioned an electric fence before and now a gate guard. Do you live in a complex? Like a gated community sort of thing?
