Calm between the storms today so joined the neighbours taking the dogs for a walk at Chapel Porth beach on the North Coast. Fantastic 12 foot surf. Here's some pics.View attachment 193127View attachment 193128

Little xmas ham is out of the oven .It tastes lobely hot or cold. We put conac mustard on a slice and serve oit on a bread that is just for this purpose ,dark and sweet but not very sweet ,still a savoury bread .View attachment 193096

Is all of Cornwall touristy?

North and south coasts are. Very. Keeps the county alive pretty much. Inland, its a tad grim, touristy wise. Truro is a nice city, but folks generally holiday there for the coasts.

edit. That said, you aint that far from either coast.
