Great photos, Anj. Love the stained glass window in the church/bar. Great way to re-purpose a redundant church. Some redundant churches do champing, sort of glamping but in a church. There’s one not far from here in a village where some of my family originate, I’ve expressed an interest but I’d be on my own, rest of the family think it’s creepy.?

That sounds really fun! One of my friends lives in a converted Chapel, including its own graveyard. She occasionally gets random folk knocking on her door asking if they can visit the graves- mostly people doing their family trees but also people who remembered the deceased.

I used the last of the packet of rice up Bill so there was a tad too much for tea last night. So I had some for supper about midnight. Yes, I took full advantage of the clocks going back last night. ;)

Is Pete Doherty still going? Surprised he's still alive. Seriously.

Just looking at some Moderat stuff now mate, Surprised they're singing in English, but initial view is I quite like them. Love Radiohead so have to look up that Thom York bit. Bicep another new one on me so I'll look them up to later. Not as if I'm doing anything else today. Peeing down here.

Haha Doherty is still alive. Apparently clean and living in northern France. His only addiction is French cheese now apparently lol I think he and Barat just needed some income so have gone on tour. I’m curious to see how it will be. Never got to see them live in their pomp.

Moderat supported Radiohead on tour about a decade ago, I think it must have been after In Rainbows. I’m a big Radiohead fan too. I dont think they have formally recorded anything with each other as far as I know, but I think Yorke is an admirer of theirs.

Yeah checking out new music is always suited to dull and lazy days. I discovered Squid and Dry Cleaning (among others) that way recently. Quite enjoying them at the moment. I’m quite out of touch with music these days lol
