Messi "best player of all time"

I know you're engaging in some sub 4chan trolling but denigrating his physical stature merely enhances his footballing stature....if you think about it.
Low centre of gravity, you'd expect him to be hard to knock off balance, ronaldo is built like a god yet still manages to move with the grace of a ballerina, that's a true feat

Just look at international level, the midget flops for Argentina and isn't loved by his people meanwhile ronaldo drags a bunch of pub league players to his level and is treated like a god by the Portuguese nation.

Has messi got a statue of his face in an airport ????
Messi has done enough at international level his bosses at the AFA have let him down . They’ve been a disgrace for years . Ronaldo was crap in Euro 16

Ronaldo is quality but Messi is a football genius . Ronaldo’s statue makes him look deformed. I wouldn’t even have a picture with it .

hes also one of the best footballers this country has ever produced and shared a pitch with both players...kinda difficult to dismiss his judgement so easily.

Of course it is, I just did.

Ronald Koeman is one of the greatest players ever. He still thought Yannick Bolasie was worth spending 27M on.

id say his opinion holds more weight than mine or yours mate. Ronaldo’s last 2 seasons with Utd were as good as most he had for Madrid . Him Rooney and Tevez was as good as any front 3 I’ve seen in this country

Oh and grannies need loving too .

Nope, my opinion is the most important one...

Joking aside I don't buy into this thinking that being a good football makes you an expert anyway. There are plenty of instances where this is not the case.

Winning 2 titles in 9 seasons in La Liga = dominance. Interesting.
4 ballon d'ors, most hat tricks in la liga history, quickest player ever to 150 la liga goals, mad rids top goalscorer of all time.

As an individual=dominance

He can't amount to what his team does, no one can question barca where the better side during the last several years

Interesting that BigMick as I was going to post Di Stefano as one of the all-time greats. Saw him play (on TV) several times, when you think he and Puskas played together, mind boggling.
I think his brother Alfredo was better ;)

Apologies Alfredo - think I must be coming down with a dose of the Sam Allardiccis!

Only saw one full game in which Alfredo played and that was years after the event when the BBC replayed the whole of the 1960 final against Frankfurt. As you say, Puskas was in the same team, plus Spanish legends like Gento and Del Sol - frightening! Both Di Stefano and Puskas were veterans by then but I remember Di Stefano seeming to like picking the ball up deep, sometimes off the keeper, and carrying the ball forward, gliding past the opposition as though they weren't there. Very much the general of the team by that stage of his career, but he still managed to score 3 while Puskas netted 4!

He can’t amount to what his team does but Messi can be accounted for Argentina’s success ?
