so i usually bring my ipod to rugby games, and one day it was pouring rain. My ipod was inside my bag so i didn't think it would be a huge issue, but still i think some moisture got in.
i made the stupid mistake of plugging it into my computer to see if that would get it to start working. When I plugged it in, the apple logo showed, so i thought it was okay, but my computer didn't detect it and it never got any further than the apple logo screen.
i searched around online, and many people had water damaged ipods, but noone described seeing the apple logo, everyone either said their ipods were working okay save for water marks on the screen, or they were completely unresponsive.
any suggestions? I'm going to take a shot at drying it out in a bag of rice, and hopefully i didn't **** it up too bad by plugging it in.
