But it depends what you mean by a Merseyside XI. Best XI going by performances for their teams? The XI you'd pick if you could make your own dream team?

Nuri Sahin is potentially world class. The same can't be said for Gibson or Allen. Easy choice.

I don't rate Gerrard anymore but he was our best player in the Euro's and dominated us at Anfield, Gibbo's still better like haha

Difficult choices on the right side. Couple of months down the line this 11 could be quite a bit different depending on how new the signings get on, apart from CF's of course as Liverpool havnt got any.
