I do have to replace a pump on the boat for my strong independent woman, over Christmas yes.

Today I washed the solar panels on the roof, washed the car (my car that she exclusively used it seems) did the recycling, cleaned some gutters, sanded, waxed and installed a small bench top on a spare unit in the kitchen, carried out an energy audit* and ground my new to me lathe chuck jaws so they were more concentric.**

* who knew that a smart plug on standby used more power than my ps4 AND telly in their standby state combined. Not worth using one of those to save power at night then.

** this took an hour of my day and resulted in a "you're in the shed all day doing stuff for yourself" comment. Sake.

And you don't have the material for a book. I'll even edit out the unfortunates for free. Come on, lets do a deal...

Edit thought this was the AH. Also....

"we've put the kitchen upgrade through, the kitchen conversion, the new kitchen flue, the kitchen cooker, associated wiring, and the old kitchen turnaround through the books in the same year, they'll never believe it, I don't and I did the work...!"

I already have 3 volumes of an epic I've written that I really need to get around to sending to a publisher some day. Historical fiction based in ancient Greece.
