My brother had a Stuttgarter mate visiting him some years back, and my brother had to translate some of the Basel Schwytzer conversation for him when they were out with friends for a meal.

As you know Stuttgart is pretty close to Basel - Schwabia. The dialect is much worse further inland. I don't have experience of Tyrolean but I can just imagine!!
