Ö is pronounced like 'e' in 'her', a little like a 'uh'. Tbf I only teach German for a living so don't listen to me! PS the '-irl' part is pretty accurate if people pronounce it correctly, it's almost like R+'Earl', or a combination of all of the above.

So it's pronounced as if you're from Hull?
