I follow Freiburg very often and he didn't have an impressive season before. Pretty much out of first squads and injured. He's a a team player and that's fine but not much more.

Did a good job yesterday. Versatile too. You can’t count a hernia as injury prone (I don’t think) so let’s hope he can have a run of games. 20m is nothing for a young, versatile player

Even Paterson played well yesterday. He needs to be evaluated more thoroughly.

Weird writing off of this lad. Looks decent to me, from what we’ve seen. Energetic, can carry the ball from midfield, can tackle. His problem currently, is that he clearly wants too much time on the ball / too many touches, which you don’t get in the midfield of the PL. He’ll learn. If he stays always from injury, confident he’ll do a decent job.

I don’t think injuries or hype have helped him but after 3 seasons, I unfortunately can’t see him being our first choice RB for the next 3-5 years
