In 2022/2023 you wrote he played 1800 mins including the Europa league.
He played 54mins in the Bundesliga as they werent in the europa.
Clearly this is quite a low amount.
I think you meant the following season.
In 2023/2024 he played 329mins in the europa ( 3 starts & 5sub) + 1487mins in the league 17 starts & 7 sub.
So he started 20 games overall and was a sub in 12.
As I've posted since he was linked, he's never played half a seasons worth of mins in a top league. I believe this is what @Joey66 was referring to.
So, is it ability or injuries?
It appears to be injuries and he's been managed in games due to injury concerns.
This is a worry, is it not?

Can debate his injury history at Freiburg all day. Lots of players have recurring injuries at one point of their career - some get over it, some don't.
Seeing comparisons to Gbamin. Funnily enough Gbamin is playing 90 mins in France every week since leaving us.
Point is we need to give him time to prove people wrong who are doubting his fitness. Far too early right now for him to be written off and for people to be taking about selling in summer.
