Is this a disgraceful dig at women's football here? I can't believe people can belittle the talent and athleticism on show in this day and age. It's like the old saying that went something like me and 10 mates regardless how unfit would be able to beat the best women's team in the world. Watching the England ladies match the other day with the missus, my mouth betrayed me and said words that sounded like that (So far as the missus was concerned). To be fair I'm certain our walking football team is faster and more athletic than England ladies. To prove this isn't sexism is e first to admit that our team would have been blown away by Canada or Cameroon from what I saw in the next match.
