Memories......Seems like Yesterday !!

For all you younger guys and ladies, take it from some of us without bias...

The Everton team of the mid eighties was one of the greatest teams EVER, and by a long way the greatest team NEVER to play in Europe.
Thanks to our 'friends'.

I am not wearing blue tinted glasses.
Brian Clough said something along the lines of Everton can be one of the best teams ever, subject to contract.

Then we get chucked out of Europe and the team slowly breaks up.

Then the Premiership came along, we were on the wain and all that early money went to Man U and Arsenal for them to build a solid basis to dominate throught the 90's and into the 2000's. In Mancs case, not to mention a fine crop of kids as well.

The timing could not have been much worse for what happened to us.
Had things have gone 'normally' we would have continued to grow and get stronger and probably be one of the dominant forces in English/European football for the last 25 years IMO.

Eh , I've found the vid' of this , with a few short seconds of the Great One - Moi - . I recorded over most of it , 'cause I'm the Fukn Professor ,....

Anyway , can one of yous , Computer Geeky types please advidse if I can transfer it from a Video onto here ???

Plus , the Hotty's will PAR-TEH !!!

Dont know if they come any cheaper but i'd imagine its fairly simple to use, should just be plug and play really.

Spot on. AQll Everton fans never doubt this.
 
I would like to add the one thing all those earlier clips featured was in my mind one of the Goalkeeping Greats of all time.

Be cautious buying Vhs to Pc equipment as the dreaded Macrovision protection can scupper attempts at converting some (i speak from personal experience) videos of everton's golden era.
