Everybody who had seen him playing for Wigan would not be surprised with McCarthy's success. He was awesome.

Nope. He is a midfielder, Moyes just found a way to get some results, to the detriment of Fellaini's development.

The forum is littered with comments from me about certain players, some serious, some not so, im possibly the easiest person on the forum to "vault", cant say I will ever give it any nevermind tho, as soon as a player puts on the blue shirt I can tell if they deserve it and I said from day 1 that McCarthy deserved it.

I too was unsure about McCarthy to be honest and now I'm made up he's a blue. That double tackle/block at the start of the Newcastle game was immense. He's been doing it all season and if we do get 4th this season then a lot of it will be down to him.

2 games without Fellaini, 2 wins. Need we say more? That McCarthy is mediocre is irrelevant, for Fellaini mediocre is a good day so on that basis alone he's a better replacement
