Maybe he did say it. Couldnt find the quote where he said that we've bid 6mill for him and that Moyes moulds young players well.

But again, no one from his club has said anything and he's been spounting his mouth off.

I dont think it'll be any skin off his nose if he moves or not. If he's all about the money then he wont be bothered if we dont buy him cos he's still sorted at Rennes money wise. He'll just miss out on getting paid more if he was with us.

I don't think he is all about the money, he obviously wants to be payed more but so does every player. The fact that he will be playing in a bigger League with a better team is also a pull for any player.

Im just happy to see a player actually wants to join us, he's praised our manager and he feels he can push on with us.

I'm not too arsed that he wants more money or to be paid more. It just reinforces why I think he could probably one of those ego driven and arrogant players who thinks they're better than the club, players etc like an Adabeyor or a Ronaldo.

Probably all bollocks but that just the vibes I'm getting personally from what I've read. The fact Renne's havent said anything says alot. And why doesnt he throw a transfer request if he wants to "further his career" and play in better league?

Bingo. Sounds like a total mercenary, but surely we should've sussed out his personality before making any sort of approach. Somebody hasn't been doing their homework.

Running out of time now, Moyes & Kenshite. Excusing are running VERY thin.
 
The thing is that isn't the only reason, people are trying to make our like he's just money motivated. He stated that yes, he also stated David Moyes is a manager he'd like to work with for a number of reasons and that moving to the Premier League would obviously be a step up.

He's an ambitious player, I really do not see the problem. Every player wants to be paid more, play at the highest level and work with a top coach. Thats part of progressing as a footballer, he sounds like a very honest player in my opinion.
 

m'bia seems like a decent pro who doesnt want to let down the club who made him who he is - unlike that fat little knobhead who is at old trafford
