The lad's done well and has showed he's worthy of a place in the squad.
Bear in mind that he's predominantly right footed but has been played as the left CB (except for last night).

He looks good at CB and RB, thought he looked better at right back though. I can see him out on loan to a top championship team next season, hoping he has a good pre-season and stays to challenge for first team myself, all depends on new manager and what Stones will do.

Agreed mate by a country mile as well. Never let his head drop and stuck to his task as best he could whilst others wilted under the miniscule amount of pressure Sunderland could muster

I know a teacher who taught him on primary school. He was miles better than his class mates back then. The school team won loads and made the teacher look great. In reality the only plan was give it to Pennington.
