I thought he did well considering he had very little cover from tin-tin and that the two centre halves were playing as though they had never met! I reckon if he had stayed on the in the second half and had played with del in front of him taking some of the pressure way he would have looked much better! Totally agree with the poster who said he looked better than Oviedo. It was his senior debut, he would have been full of nerves and desperate to make an impression, it wasn't his fault that the half he played was alongside what was possibly the most inept defensive performance under Bobby's reign.
