Matthew Kennedy...

Kilmarnock boss Kenny Shiels has described Everton's bid for Matthew Kennedy as "derisory".
He hopes to have the 17-year-old forward in his side for Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Ross County.
The fee offered by the Merseysiders for the 17-year-old Scotland youth international is believed to be lower than the £250,000 reported which has angered the Northern Irishman.
Shiels confirmed that defender Jeroen Tesselaar, who went off with a hamstring injury in Tuesday's 2-1 Scottish Communities League Cup defeat by Stenhousemuir at Rugby Park, would be "out for six weeks".
But on the prospect of losing one of his bright young prospects for good, he said: "There are all sorts of rumours going around but at this moment he is playing for me on Saturday.
"They (Everton) have made a derisory offer which was disrespectful to the club and unsettled the player which I wasn't happy about.
"But that can change as you know and if we were speaking tomorrow [Friday] it might be different but hopefully it won't be.
"I spoke to him and he is okay."
Shiels was surprised with recent reports linking Rangers with his keeper Cammy Bell.
"I find that hard to believe," he said. "It is a bit late, isn't it?
"There`s not been a thing (from Rangers).
"If they were wanting him you would have thought it would have happened maybe a week ago but I can't see it happening now."

You feel for a manager who's having his players picked off like that. But it doesn't really matter what he says, it'll be done over his head at boardroom level. They're in £9M debt - a massive amount for a club like that.

How is an offer for a footballer "disrespectful"?

They just say "no" and get on with things surely?

And if it unsettles a player then we should offer a tenner for every single one of the opposition players every time we play a game.

Bunch of nonsense.

If they're only looking for £250k how low would it really need to be to be derisory?

Happens a lot to us but you don't seem to feel for Moyes.
