OPTA look at "kep passes" too now which I think is a better measure of a creative players effectiveness.
Never seen anything of this lad but I know he is highly rated. Hope he gets a run out

Matthews Pennington and Kennedy helped Tranmere pick up a vital three points before being recalled to Everton.
The duo had been on loan at Prenton Park since January but are now back at Finch Farm to aid the Under-21s' league run-in.

So sounds like he's not been brought in to bolster the first team ranks, however, that doesn't mean that someone else maybe promoted up and that's why these have been recalled

The U-21 league format for next year is splitting into two divisions and it is currently a bit of a dogfight for us to be getting into the top division. Overall, it's still going to be better off for future youngster development - even if the present system is flawed - to be playing in the top division than the second rank.

Always thought Milton Keynes was further south than London. Kept wondering why the train went there before Euston.
