Happy to see Downing not in it, but surely Walcott has to go in ahead of Ox against the best side in our group. Also, id play Young on the wing and Milner in the centre as he is abit slower, and we need pace on the wing!

Controversial? Up until the last page of this thread there were only about two people in the thread supporting England. If the modders hadn't taken down some threads and thrown some warnings about I'm sure it would be way worse. Not supporting England is totally the mainstream side around here -- you lot are like the kids at school who think of themselves as being so different and edgy when everyone in class dresses and acts almost identically.

I'm English; I hope England win. Yes it's hard to support the team (moreso because of Terry than the RS players and I'm more upset by the RS players being included in the squad because they are horrible at football rather than the fact they're RS) but since when has supporting a football team been easy?

Meaning a solid defence, with 2 DM/CM to take abit of pressure off the two CBs. Then two pacy wingers, a pacy clinical forward, and a man who likes to hang on the edge of the box and shoot long. Then you would have subs in Johnson (RB), Terry, Baines, Johnson (LM), Milner, Ox, Wellbeck.

Also i'd start Jagielka. Firstly because i think Terry is starting to lose it abit, he isn't in good form, playing with a CB who he hasnt really played with, and he is abit of a ****, and if he got sent off in one of the most important matches for Chelsea, whats stopping him doing it for England. Secondly Jagielka is a quality defender and him and Lescott were brilliant as a partnership.​

Yeah delighted not to see Downing - he is a good player, but for people like Walcott, Adam Johnson and Ox to be left out of the team for him, well it would just be silly!

Milner I do like, but again with Downing, can't help think that Walcott and Johnson are far better players. But yes its helping out Johnson who is abit of a ****e defender, so its a good decision.
