I love the communal therapy. Its sways lovely when we collectively go from cursing Myko/McNeil/Keane, our lack of possession, or not looking like scoring to absolute joy and/or relief when we turn it around.
There’s some posters on here on the very edge of their sanity, who have cucked their entire identity and self worth into Everton. And they want the megaphone so they can try make others feel as bad as they do.

For those people I say this; therapy, ASAP.

I’ve always enjoyed the match thread whilst watching a dodgy stream (phone tried to autocorrect that to dodgy team which is also accurate) but there are some proper bonkers shouts in there at the moment 🤣

After three years of awful football and relegation battles we are somehow battling for European football even though everyone agrees the squad is nowhere near good enough and has huge gaps… things are so much better than previous years but somehow the doom mongers are going even harder right now!

Other clubs' forums manage a derisory number of posts, sometimes consisting of potty mouth comments. For example, a measly 15 pages.

Meanwhile, on here we manage to having a frenetic, manic posting style without resorting to feckin' obscenities. Pages and pages and pages of erudite comment and reasoned discussion on the tactics of the Grey Eminence. UTFT.

Well I'm absolutely delighted they proved me wrong, long may it continue👍,I didn't want Moyes back as I just don't think he will kick us on any further than where we currently sit,I still don't unfortunately, but he has certainly so far gone above and beyond his initial remit,if we get into Europe you'd have to say he will earn at least another two year deal with the owners,I personally just don't think he can get us consistently mixing it in the upper echelons,by and large you have to remove the shackles at some point which over both spells he has always in the main remained reticent to do.

And you know what, that’s totally fine! Moyes isn’t here to break the top four. He’s here to make sure the club isn’t anywhere near the relegation scrap… and then the next manager can take a solid foundation and push for European success. If Moyes does it himself that’s a bonus, but I’m not demanding it from him like some people are.

I put chat about the game but I'm always at the match so it's afterwards. What goes on during the game in the match thread?
