Dell Boy

Player Valuation: £35m
Got an email this morning offering some new hospitality deals and I started looking at the individual match category pricing:

A: Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd
B: Chelsea
C: Arsenal, Tottenham, Sunderland, West Brom
D: Newcastle, West Ham, Swansea, Cardiff, Aston Villa
E: Hull City, Norwich, Southampton, Stoke City
F: Crystal Palace, Fulham

Seems a bit odd to me at least.......

Chelsea a step above Arsenal and Spurs?

Sunderland above Newcastle?

What the hell are West Brom doing up there so high?

Is there any real difference to an Evertonian at a home match for the teams in E and F? Aren't they all of a muchness?

Perhaps there's a link here to the level of away support but it just seems a bit odd in places...

The reason for West Brom being so high up is that they're our first game of the season therefore higher demand. I dare say all the lesser sides in E and F are judged by previous attendances and demand for hospitality.

Yes sorry had a brain freeze on West Brom!

Nothing to do with the level of away support. It's due to when the matches are played. Obviously our 3 biggest games in terms of rivalry are the Derby, and the 2 games against the Manchester clubs. Other than that they just do it based on when the matches are played.

I think City at home was category B last season but with it being the last home game it's moved to A. Sunderland is on Boxing day so they are higher, like Wigan were last season. West Brom is the first home game.
