He talks a good game and a lot of teams were chasing him. Surprises me that we can spend £125k on a 16 yo keeper but can't afford loans for the 1st team. I know there is a seperate budget for the academy but still.

Good luck to him.

But I don't remember us ever signing a young goalie and him working his way up to the first team. They always play third/fourth fiddle.

I suppose £125k will only cover about a month's wages for a senior player.
