Played very well tonight Mason, I rate him, he’s versatile, can play right across the defence and I think he has the makings of a good central defender eventually, he’s still quite young for a centre back.

Why did our CB’s let Jesus drop off at will and not track him. He had all time in the world to turn or pop the ball off.

Yet every time we played up to Richarlison, one of the city CB’s was touch tight. Unbelievable.


What do we do with Firmino? As he will do exactly the same

He is a good defender, and his versatility is an asset.

I want to see more from him with the ball, and to cut out the bad passes when we are try to break teams down.

Love his spirit though - can only keep improving!

Its a nice change of pace to see Holgate getting praised today...hes had it all against him this season.

We looked good in a 3, Godfrey and Holgate touch right and Keane looked good behind them. Maybe it’s a formation that we can use again.

He showed that when he focuses and concentrates for 90 minutes he can keep one of the best strikers in the country restricted to a couple of headers. Now he needs to do that every week, not just in a big game, and not just at centre half. No reason why he can't play right back in the same way.
