Completely different circumstances, team, money, mentality etc. I agree this season is a shocker and event if we finish 9th it doesn't reflect how poor we were (in the league), but he should not go.
He's seen the errors and so has everyone else. Time to rebuild in the areas necessary and move on.
We could get done for match fixing
Really? Really that different?
Osman. Hibbert. Howard. and a few others are surely coming to the end.
There are clear circumstances that parallel the other.
Whereas we have money - to buy players like Lukaku
We don't have an inexhaustable budget to spend on every position every summer.
This summer we will strengthen certain specific positions. The manager has the opportunity this summer to balance the squad out and move on players that haven't met the grade or are coming to the end.
Plus let new blue blood into the team.
@davek
Is it a plotter defeat though.
I wanted him to change from the slow boring tippy tappy stuff and eventually he did and we started winning so i am happy.
He listened to reason and changed and it has turned our season round so i would say the plotters have now what they want.
We clearly paid Burnley off. Think we've got a strong case against ourselvesWe did look like we were trying to lose earlier in the season in fairness.

Of the managers we've had in the last 30odd years which one of them has had that experience? I don't recall us ever taking a top level manager. The nearest we came was a flirtation and almost a signature from the great Sir Bobby Robson as far as I can recall. He didn't have the experience to manage the expectations of a club like Everton.
I'm not a Moyes fan. Says a lot though when Martinez can't even consistently achieve that.
Its not that mad though mateMate, Shane Long went for 14m and Borini for 10....you seem to forget that the transfer market went ballistic
Someone had to tell him dude but its all ok nowI'm glad Roberto took the time to read the thread and listen to you and your reasoning.........it's saved our season a little. Great work.
Correct got me figures wrong,I can now sleep safely in the knowledge we'll be playing top flight football once again
Got a bit hairy around Christmas time mateIt was never really in doubt though was it.
