Martinez has changed regularly the squad tactics and philosophy much more than people mame out. I think most people would be happy with mirallas in for osman pre game it's only post that we are questioning it. He probably thought villa would press more and leave more gaps as they did so. And they did however we didn't contend as we did against United. We suffered a mental hangover from United like last season.

I think next season we will have an easier start and not have europa. I'd still have martinez over Rodgers. Always wanted him in

Mate...he was posting negatively last season too at every opportunity. Some of the threads he started were shocking. A very sad individual.

Tell you what i've grown tired of this season, players coming out the day after a crap defeat with a bit of a rallying cry saying we need a response in our next game. How about stop playing like absolute melts and we could have built some momentum and consistency this season.

Big summer for Martinez coming up, we need to get the pre-season right, not the shambles we had last time out, and he's got to get his transfers right, if he thinks 3 coming in will suffice he's got his head in the clouds, the squad needs a big overhaul.

Start the next season in similar fashion to this one and he could be gone by Christmas.

If we're languishing in the bottom half at Christmas time then he deserves the sack.

But not now , I think the performance level show over recent weeks deserves him another crack.

He has done well lately especially changing the tactics.
My worry is what he sees in naismith who was shocking yesterday.
Barkley was great against united why drop him for a player who looks lost in midfield.
Saying that like i have said before i will give him some time now and get behind him

Everton could be really shrewd in the transfer market this summer if they choose to be.

Do others agree that We could easily pick up 5-6m for Naismith from a team just come up or one of the teams below us, he is clearly worth that in the crazy transfer market.

Would Hibbert bring in 2-3 million?

McGeady 5m?

That's a potential 12-13m getting rid of very replaceable players with players of a smililar ability from within or by promoting one of the younger players to the first team squad without touching any of the coming seasons budget.

Theres no way we'd get actual money for hibbert, maybe monopoly money.

And id try to use mcgeady in a deal for van dijk

Who in their right mind would pay 6m for naismith and 3m for hibbo apart from rodgers
