If he plays youth with quality that need games together and you can see a definite future plan in the works, I am happy with that.
A team of Barry, McGeady, Naismith, Cleverley and any other Cleverley types he picks up getting 1st team selection regularly? Bye bye for me...
Me too.

I don't give a damn what people say about money. Yes the bigger clubs are spending even more than before and we have to be smart and are scouting has to be smart but if he signs anymore mid-table, limited, aging players I'm done with too. There isn't even any hope with players like that.

If he's building a team to keep us in the premiership while the stadium gets built then I would need to hear concrete plans of when the stadium would be open.

Roberto is absolutely NOT an Everton man! It's all about his future career.
Just passing through, being nice and smiley, on TV everytime he's asked, hoping to get a few more contacts and admiring glances (not working at the minute)

So your only an Everton man if you have no ambition to manage at the highest level

For me playing Barry every minute of every game and Naisy who i like. to not take out against Chelsea when he had Horror half of playing and passing for Chelsea, shows that those two players are spine of team for Martinez and for me that is blind menager.Naismith shuold like open our attack and he can't pass a CD pass, and Barry is late and slow for everything even against Hull u can see that , against Chelsea it was funny.

He is fearsome indeed. The close control of Lukaku will put the fear of god in them as well.
Yes mate. I made mention of the Naismith/Lukaku partnership in the thread banging on about Lukaku wanting to play with a big CL club. I don't think Lukaku realises just what Naismith does for his game.

...or perhaps he does...and that's why he wants to leave lol lol

He's the right man for the job.
Not a single Evertonian wanted him out last season, with the exception of a handful who thought it clever to never accept him in the first place. A season of comparative struggle does not make rational employers pull the trigger, and I like to think we're rational.

Then again Paul Lambert and Harry Redknapp are available along with some sexy-named no marks from overseas who for some reason some Blues think will 'get' Everton.

Knee jerk cheese on toast.

Hes not an ego maniac just because he has a polite manner especially with the media...what do you want him to do act like a knob ? How do you know how many times hes been asked to do a media interview ? I worked in the media for a few years along the way and believe me he couldn't possibly find the time do every interview. What would you class as an Everton man....theres no one formula and Ive been through a few managers since the late sixties...some good some bad. Ive criticised RM for a few things...but not on these shallow accusations.

I see Tim Sherwood has gone to Villa, he was the man i was saying we should get in a few weeks ago to place Martinez, be interesting to see how that works out for Villa.

Amidst the underwhelming-ness of this season, Bobby's unearthing of the talents of Steven Naismith has been my highlight. And he has courageously done this in the face of all those 'nais-sayers' who considered it best left buried.
