Being serious however I think the only manager I would be sure (or as sure as you can be) to be a success would have been Pochittino however Spurs snapped him up.

Monk has also impressed me but it will be interesting how he copes without Bony and a team that aren't really playing for much but then again I was a fan of Laudrup and then it all went pair shaped so you never know plus as soon as we where successful he would be off.

Apart from that I couldn't tell you one more I would genuinely not be worried about plus I don't know the other leagues lesser teams well enough.

A much as Martinez sometimes infuriates me I like what he's trying to do. He's a proper manager looking to build the club all the way through from the youth teams to the senior teams and he plays the right way when he can. He has also shown a willingness to be practical that I wasn't sure he possessed - he might be stubborn but that's better than being a flip flopper. I still get the feeling he will be great for us and this is just a bit of 2nd season syndrome.

And I was very dubious of him when he arrived.

Kind of agree with that.

The dissident numbers have been coming down consistently over the past few weeks. Understandably so given the corner being turned. Just a quarter now reckon it's the manager's fault concerning who's to blame for the poor season (represented visually below).

Spot on mate. We have turned the corner and this has been due to a combination of Bobby adopting a 'needs must' pragmatism to our tactics, players returning from injury (esp Stones) and the emergence of creative flair from our main attacking man (imo), Naismith (who has been a revelation this season as I think we can all agree). The only negative at the moment is the continued underwhelming displays by Ross Barkley. I am hoping that he can find inspiration from Naismith's play.

Bottom line though: relegation fears are well behind us now so hopefully we can increasingly employ slightly more expansive game plans

I find it baffling that anyone other than Martinez would be to blame for the position we're in. I mean the players have a responsibility to perform but the buck stops with him.

...shaped like bosoms?

Martinez can't be sacked now. If he was to be sacked it should have been done prior to the transfer window. We have to stick with him now. Last nights game has given me a bit more hope that he will come good. We have stopped shipping goals, we have picked up 4 points in the last 3 games. We are playing terribly but we needed to stop the freefall. He needed to arrest the decline and that gives him a bit of breathing space to work on the attacking side of our game. Now what does worry me is how he persists in playing players out of position or in a style that doesn't seem to play to their strengths. I am hoping he is learning to change. The major worry is who will ask for a transfer come the end of the season because they think Everton can't live up to their expectations.

He needs to do his transfer business early so the players can see the quality that is being brought in. If that happens things will be fine.

Insanity that shout for Andy Gray.

Roberto isn't leaving. He deserves another season to turn things around, shed the team of its under performing senior pros and get us playing the way we were last season.
The defence gifting goals has probably for me been one of the core problems this season and he has resolved that.
Wasn't something that many people thought he could do but he has shown some pragmatism in neglecting the attacking stuff a bit so to focus on being defensively solid, and now we aren't conceding much.
Once we have that solid foundation of a back 5 we can rely on not to ship soft goals as they had been doing all season, we can become more expansive in how we play going forward.
We still have a reasonable chance of some success in Europa as well. Win that or at least do well in it and we become a more attractive team for other players.
This summer is a big one in that he will need to lose much of Moyes's deadwood that really hit their expiry date at the beginning of the season, and replace them with players of quality that can play his system, as well as bringing in players to fill the gaps we already have in the squad.
Tough job but one that I feel he is up to.
