@davek - I've always had the picture lad, because unlike you I'm capable of separating my own subjective opinion on a forum, from one of genuine influence ffs.

I've said all along IF IT WAS ME, I'd have shot him at Hull. But it wasn't me then, and it isn't me now, and I'm not daft enough to think that my opinion has any influence on the fella's futire or not, why would it?

The fact that I want Kenwright to get rid, doesn't mean I think he will, or ever have......

I've not shouted for his head inside the ground either, but I might if we lose to the Geordies - at that point you can call me a plotter lad.

Look, the fuming is going to get people nowhere.

If we beat Newcastle and go on to get safe soon after (which I think is the probable outcome) Martinez's job is safe. How could it not be when the same chairman allowed Moyes to stay on after dragging us down to the relegation zone in his second season and finishing it 17th?

At no point in that season was there even a chance of relegation, plus I dont recall Moyes winning 1 game in 15.

Walter Smith was sacked with the following league record.

Played 29 Won 7 Draw 9 Lost 13 F 27 A 35

Martinez currently has

Played 28 Won 6 Draw 10 Lost 12 F 33 A 41

So, if you have no impact and you dont think it will happen, why are you here posting hundreds of times screaming for his head?

Oh but there was if you think our position now is relegation threatened. I posted the season points/position/points above the bottom three stats for that season yesterday...and it demonstrated exactly that: that we we're on average 7 points above the bottom three for the last 10 weeks of the season.

You can't compare him or Everton as it is now to what is was like when Moyes was in charge at the start. We were pretty poor then. Now were actually pretty decent have been for years.

I imagine that he posts because this is a fans forum , an opportunity to air their views , vent their spleen , just as you do.

I don't know why people keep doing it. They're not even remotely the same thing.

Obviously the after match interviews are the difference. Smith said disappointing and Martinez says Phenomenal. The power of positivity. Slick operator is our Bobby - clued in with psychology.
