The second oldest Premier League team this season; Everton at Manchester City: 30 years and 115 days old (06/12/14)

Tony Hibbert, Gareth Barry and Phil Jagielka, all of whom are early to mid-thirties and Sylvain Distin, who was about to turn 37. Still, the Toffees have a bright future in John Stones and Ross Barkley.

The oldest team was QPR home to Manchester United.

Do you even speak latin??

Maybe you should google translate this :

Nil Satis Nisi Optimum.

Heres a clue, it doesnt say "12th is BOSS".

You think it covers finishing 5th...something that would be acceptable?

A support base that's put up and settled for so long with finishing top half and a pat on the head off SKY Sports really cant be touting around NSNO.

It's laughable.

Can you call off your little lapdog please.

Amazed that davek has painted the situation lately as the "tide is turning" towards Martinez, despite precisely nothing happening to turn that tide since the limpest performance imaginable against Stoke.

More amazing is people have let it happen!

Well the vote has gone from 85% to 63%, think a lot of people have changed their vote.

In the next week Dave will either become a KING or a CLOWN.

Everton will decide his fate.

He won't though - even if we win, he's still wrong, as he hasn't accepted this run of form should result in the sack, even if he isn't sacked.

He can quite literally never be right on this, as he is saying quite clearly that it's been perfectly fine for us to win once in fifteen games, for no other reason than because it's Roberto Martinez and he's pinned his stripes to that particular mast no matter what.

Similarly though, those saying that Martinez definitely should be sacked are wrong no matter what too. As per usual, the viewpoint in the centre is the real debate - you either think he should be sacked on merit but be allowed to stay on because his first season earned it, or that he's lost all the brownie points doesn't deserve any more time, but can understand why he's been given to the end of the season at least.
