As a 59 year old Evertonian who thinks he needs to go, I must say the banners made me cringe today. It's not our way of doing things. That said, if you lose the away support it's only a matter of time

As a 60-year old STH, I applaud those who made and displayed the banners. Prior to this, the media were oblivious to the feelings of the majority of the fanbase: the media coverage of the banners has finally given them the heads-up. More publicity = more pressure on the board to get rid of the guy who sadly is taking the club backwards.

Not our way of doing things? Have you forgotten we sacked a manager in a taxi; we threw cushions from the main stand; we physically attacked The Cat for dropping the Golden Vision; we have daubed slogans on walls many many times. There are many more examples of "the Everton way". Have you been following a different club?

We played Watford away so the banner was for today

We have never ever been able to get rid of a manager by way of a banner at an away game. It has always come from the home crowd turning against them. I want him gone mate but today wasn't the right way IMHO. That was my point

The RS biased media don't care about us, so what else can the fans do to show their displeasure. Personally I think the Baines banner was enough today.
What is all the more worrying for roberto (and if he isn't worried he should be) is that it is our away support with the banners. He has harped on all season about the fans at home being detrimental to our performances but praised our away support. Well roberto even your beloved away support showed the true feelings of many Everton fans today. The end is nigh.

I could agree with most of what you say there mate but really, was there any need for the last sentence?

If you're 59, you'll remember the lead up to both Bingham and Lee getting sacked mate.

Though I'm not really a fan of banners, I'm not going to criticise Blues for "speaking" their mind by taking banners to a game. If it's a choice between banners and apathy then, for me, banners win hands down every day.

At Goodison vocally as it always has been, ie, Catterick, Lee, Walker, Smith after the Tranmere game etc etc
Wrong mate, I can remember demo's against H C, and cushions etc,and messages on walls etc,and Evertonians that follow the team around the country have every right to show their displeasure if they are being short changed, and the manager we have now needs to be reminded that is managerial skills falls short of what we expect.
