Having had an extra day to think this over I am still of the opinion that we should do nothing till after the result of the semi is known. Think we could be shooting ourselves in the foot if we do it before and I am someone who has no faith in Martinez. Moshiri isn't stupid, he can see what is happening on the pitch, I am sure if we don't win the cup he will take action, whether that is sacking Martinez or making him get some new backroom staff I have no idea but things will change this summer regardless of what we as fans do with or without a banner protest.

If he doesn't see that he needs to sort it out then that's even worse than not being able to

I'm thinking it would be a polite nudge / hint to give his head a bloody shake if he wants to keep his job as we're losing patience big time.

I agree but we are dealing with a very stubborn man here,he really thinks he is here for the long haul his talk about developing FF and building dynasties, he has too much input IMO, Martinez OUT.

Yes its serious. Top half, top 6, its all varying degrees of nothingness that results in bugger all. I wont be telling my grandkids about that brilliant season that we came 6th. I will be telling them about when we won the cup in 2016 (if we do obviously...erm and if I had kids which I dont...)

Its a banner. I bloody banner! Its pathetic. Do you think the people in charge of the club dont see that there is a problem and that some of the fans dont like Martinez (and many never have lets face it).

Some crude logo daubed on some scruffs sweaty bedsheet isnt going to open their eyes any further. What it may do though is scupper any remote chance we have of actually winning something this season, the season has been rubbish, of course it has, but we still stand a chance of winning something.

It makes no sense to me at all, lets kick off about a manager who has got us to a semi final (thats not an achievement of course....) with a chance of actually winning something because he is failing at making us one of the better placed losers in the league.

Banners and planes and all this stampy footed childlike nonsense is a horrible side effect of modern football.

The Wenger out banner that was at Goodison didn't seem to effect their players against us did it?

Hmmm top 6 top half, bototm half none of it matters really, well it kind of does - it means you have won more games and that as a fan is what we like to see isn't it? or are you genuinely not arsed if we win lose or draw a game mate? cos if you are bothered when we lose then what you said is utterly daft isn't it?

Don't think the banners effect the players at all to be honest... think thats all an over reaction, they are focused on the game when on the pitch, don't see them stopping and clapping all the time when there name gets chanted.

its up there with "kopite behaviour" that...

I think maybe leaving the banner till after the semis would be a good idea, no point in potentially unresting players/manager. where not gunna get anyone better rite now are we? if we get Knocked out of the semi/final then yes do the banner. because if we do the banner now, we win the FA cup and everyone acts like Bobby is Jesus then we all look a bit silly

And doing nothing and not showing unrest is the way to go Isn't it? I actually think some people aren't even assed that were crap.
We have some of the most apathetic fans around, it's been conditioned into the fanbase over several decades. Nor that I think banners are necessarily the way to go, I much prefer good old fashioned chants and mob rule. A sizeable angry crowd outside the main stand and he'd be tostado.

Get it done.

What happens if we win the semi and fail in the league still? Delay it to the final? No chance.

Get it done.

You really think these players rely on Martinez to win games?

Look i dont want him at the club, but he has the ability every now and then to put in a decent performance, especially away from home (no idea why btw) but no one we can bring in rite now will be better for the club. and of course they rely on the manager to win games.

As much as I'd be dead set against someone like Ferguson, Sheedy or Unsworth being given the job full time - I really wouldn't mind them being given a game or two, even if it's the FA Cup final.
