Serious question - say the ground is awash with Martinez out stuff, do you think he'd acknowledge it or totally blank it?

He might ignore it. I honestly believe that he is too locked into his own footballing philosophy to admit he might be wrong.

The media and our new part owner won't though.

Put a positive spin on it, more then likely. He is so stuck in his beliefs he wouldn't let it bother him.

Don't care if it does, it needs to bother the people sitting above him.

But at west ham we were winning with 10 men, and conceded 2 goals from crosses, which west ham players said they knew we were, at that point we were playing 3 at the back and attacking so it left the crossing areas exposed. And it happened many times this season , not a one off game. For the whole season we have had weaknesses from set pieces and crosses, even the manager has said himself he doesn't believe they are a weakness nor does he believe his team needs to work on set pieces.

So to play well and lose to conceding those types of goals is far more than just football. Hell losing the final to those sorts of goals is just down to the manager.
If they knew this then why weren't they bombarding us with crosses all the way through.
It's a weakness and has been since well before the current manager. But we weren't just attacking at that point. We had to maintain a counter threat but we looked tired and were second to everything for the last quarter. Pretty natural when down to ten men.

For the good of the club I understood.

Please mention 21 wins in 68 league games on the banner.

Worst PL home record for Everton too. Cheers.

Seem to recall Brown shoes blanked the Wigan faithful when it was bad.
No honour any more amongst managers.
All about the dough.

...it'd be a 'duck's back' mate, without doubt. Remember, he was 'genuinely shocked' that WIGAN were relegated, said he never saw it coming (WOW) when everyone else did. The only acknowledgement he'd give any banner business would be with a big spin along the lines of '...well, it just shows how passionate our fans are'. That'd be it...back to the office, couple of slices of ham, sound...
