The point I was trying to make is that the style of play is important to me. Who want to see 0-1 wins or such all the time. Winning is ofc the ultimate objective, I thought it was obvious. Should not have opted for the hyperbole. Sorry for that. Also when you play very negative and still lose it's worse than when you at least try. The balance has to be there.
Also I am not without criticism for the many times he lets leads slip by doing strange things; very frustrating.
Winning in style you know.
Yeah that's fair enough mate, nothing wrong with wanting to win in style playing decent attacking entertaining football, i doubt you'd find anyone who doesn't want to see that.
I accept your original post of it sometimes being more fun to see your team lose or draw than it is to see them win as one of hyperbole to make a point and not how you honestly feel, winning is first, style is second.
It's not like you've spent 2 years telling the forum that you think losing but having Danny Murphy call us "the entertainers" is something that a fan of the 9 times champions of England should boast about or anything like that.
It's pretty simple really for any supporter of any sporting team who has an emotional attachement to that team :
1 : win
2 : win in style
3 : win ugly
4 : draw in style
5 : draw ugly
6 : lose
There is no qualification when you lose. Unless you place Danny Murphy's words after losing as having more importance than 9 league titles, 5 FA cups and 1 CWC.
