I take it you've enjoyed Martinez during the WC ? Also if you tagged/quoted me somewhere I can't see it; I logged in and saw a bunch of alerts and suddenly they were gone. They're going to make him an honorary citizen of Waterloo on the second of September btw.

I noticed this after coming back from a longish break (a few months or so): it would flash xx-alerts but when you'd click they'd be gone, even on the main alerts page. I think there's a time-limit to how long profiles save alerts.

Ah yes. Wilmots underachieved off course, as he did when he got sacked from the Ivory Coast job after a few months (also happened with his other managerial appointments). The only thing that kept him in the Belgium job for so long is that he had a very good group of players. He's an incompetent idiot. He also thought it was necessary to comment after every Belgium game at the WC. Everybody in Belgium was very happy with the result, I take it you saw the parade.

Will be interesting to see what happens to his back-room staff though. I don't particularly rate Henry as a coach, but he had an inspiring aura because of his extraordinary playing career. Will be interesting to see who he can dig up. Wouldn't surprise me if he'd go for someone like Simons.
