Personally think you take a talent like that every time to a major tournament, just to sit on the bench and be a wildcard option if nothing else. Plus he's versatile and can play deep or advanced.

Strange one really; can only see it as weakening Belgium's squad quality as a whole, unless he's a disruptive influence on the squad.

He made two appearances in the whole qualifying campaign for the Belgians - a record breaking qualifying campaign. I think they can handle his absence. He has qualities others dont have but that has to be balanced out with cohesion.

BTW, I would NOT rule out such decisions being made without consultation with senior members of that squad.

I've never really seen it from naingollan. Just your usual modern footy player who everyone thinks is better because he has wacky hair.

Scored a cracker v us of course.

Hope for Martinez the belgians crash out in group stage as he is a muppet who ruined Everton with his phenomal crap ideas

I hope Silva ruins us with 72 point seasons and cup runs to Wembley.

Come and destroy us Marco.
We won what under Martinez? Finished 5th? He cost us 10 million to sack him in compensation and he forced that ;-( You might like him mate but he'd 1 good season out of 3 and lets see what Marco Silva does if he joins this week and in 3 years come back and see and compare ;-)

I see dropping Nainggolan is the Belgian equivalent of Bob throwing Baines under the bus. Sod it, he's not our problem anymore.

Against Tunisia, England and Panama? Maybe if the entire team's legs dropped off or something.

A new book, written by an American sportswriter, features Martinez:

Moyes and Koeman have a chapter each in this:
