Posted this on the New Manager thread, but I'll say it again here. The exact same thing happened with Martin O'Neill a few weeks before we signed Koeman, he actually went odds on with a lot of bookies to join us and it turned out to be complete bollox. Stop panicking, I guarantee you he will not be our new manager *

* this is not a guarantee

"What have we become...? Our empire of sand....Everyone we want.. goes away..in the end.." Apologies to Johnny Cash and Trent Reznor:cool:

Compared to some of the ludicrous and embarassing names we've been linked with this is at least a sensible name. And right now, while I am so disillusioned I'm not sure whether I can be a..ed to care. It's not some crazy German or French no-name.

O'Neill would be a disaster IMO. It's an open secret he doesn't take training drills or offer any real tactical advice with Ireland. His only input seems to be as a man motivator.

Players have been disregarding his instructions in recent matches for Ireland.

..I presume he’s still contracted to FAI so any approach would need to go through them?

he knows

OPEFULLY E BRINGZ KEANO TO WHIP EM INTA SHAPE

this is a interesting point.

roy keane wouldn't stand for fancy dans , would get rid of players with the wrong attitude and would demand 100%.
love or hate him .he is honest and wears his heart on his sleeve.

I wouldn't be displeased with roy keane getting the manager job at all tbh.

Yes, I suppose so.

That doesnt seem a lot.

But I know squat about betting.

In relative terms, it's not a huge amount - Allardyce has a betting volume of £38k over time, for example.

The fav in a very poor maiden at Dundalk has £25k and that market is (just about) less than the total betting for the Everton manager job.

The speed of it however is a bit concerning.
