Martin O'Neill

FFS can't believe you some of you guys have been taken in here on some clickbait, Martin O'Neill? Jesus he's older than me, and as for him doing well at Villa, how long ago was that? he's just a mouthpiece for his coaches working under him and one of those is Roy Keane, for those suggesting O'Neill please get yourselves another life and stop scaring me.

I think ONeil is a good manager at getting the best out of what he has got. When you look at where he managed to get Leicester and Celtic to. He has done a good job with the republic, I know they were battered in the end by Danemark, but the republic were chasing the game, once they were 2-1 down, it was win or bust, and Danemark were great on the counter and made it 5-1.

My main concern with O’Neil is that he has been out of day to day management for a while and it’s not always easy to spot back in, but if he could he could be a solid appointment for us. Not amazing, but better than some that have been mentioned

He increasingly resembles a tetchy, costive owl.

So no.

Being a fellow Northern Ireland man I have always had a soft spot for Martin O'Neill. I think he has generally got the best out of what he has to work with, something our recent managers have not been able to do. With him and Roy Keane at the helm we could rest assured the players on the field were putting in a shift.
However Martin's day has come and gone. It would be madness to take him on, even to get us to the end of the season. We need a long term solution who can come in and start putting his stamp on things during the next window.
What we need is a young talented manager. Now is the time for vision not hindsight

Dont watch Ireland? Awful the whole campaign to watch even before the game during the week
Amazing how unambitious we've become
