Dobbo is classier than that you can rest assured he will be working hard for the club,he loves Everton and he gets us, don't be getting him mixed up with the Walsh's of this world, shame on you for trying to besmirch a legend as he before he's even taken up his position.
:oops:Where have I heard that before?

Jobs for the boys, that's all this is. Wasted wage.

Not going to get into a big about this Glawdys but I could see your point if he was here for a while and not pulling his weight,at least he has had a similar job with Burnley and he will be monitoring and reporting on our players who are out on loan.
There is enough negativity on here without writing off a guy who served our club with class and dignity, so tell us all Glawdys who would you employ to do this job which clearly needs doing, how about Lawro or Hansen, once again you'd have been first in the queue to moan so please supply us with your suggestion for the job as you are clearly not happy with someone who on the face of it is popular with the fans and appears to fit the bill.

Because people “getting us” has worked out this far. I remember when Ross Barkley “got” us.

Stinks of yet another ex Everton mouthpiece and to make it worse he has big links to Steve Walsh.

Well said. He was one of the finest players I have ever seen in a Royal Blue shirt. I am very happy to have him back.

I just think he deserves an opportunity to actually do the job before he is slagged off, a lot of disrespect and negativity being shown towards a player who served us with distinction, seems the way of the world with some on here.

I’d like to cast our recruitment net a bit further than former players constantly, especially former players who are well into the national retirement age.

So lets hear your suggestions, as for age, Sir Alex was still winning trophies at 70 and Roy Hodgson has given Palace some hope after the worst start ever in the Premiership, glad too see the club doesn't discriminate against age as you clearly do.

I think 1 player would have done it.We should have broke the bank for Shilton in 1974 or again in 1977 the biggest mistakes the club made in the 70s.

Yes, a top class goalkeeper would have made a heck of a difference to us in that era.

If we had have had Shilton in 77/78 it might have been us winning the league.
