Please do contact the lads at TEF and ask them if their Angel Delight fella has the same IP as me. Because unless he lives in South Wales, he won't.

Now, can we stop obsessing over me and get back to transfers?

@GrandOldTeam

Please check with them, I ask you :)

Getting a little fed up of being either called a Kopite or accused of being some guy/gal at TEF.
I hope he calls your bluff mate tbh.

Strange behaviour for an Everton fan don't you think?

Yes, I read RAWK and openly admit it unlike you lot.

Are you telling me you never read their post match thread after they've just been thumped by Stoke City? I read every page and laugh my head off!

No mate, like I've said in another thread - I never have the same username on more than one forum in case weirdos stalk me.

I suspect you don't use the same user name across other forums because you would quickly be exposed for what you are. How anyone could regard Arnautovic as bang average is ridiculous, especially at the fee quoted. I think this deal has the hallmarks of Walsh and i would be more inclined to trust his judgement than a puppy on a wind up masquerading as an Evertonian.

He'd be our number one and first choice left sided midfielder if he came to Everton.

One thing we finally agree on :)

My only reservation about this potential deal would be that I think we need to be prioritising a playmaker, and though he gets assists Arnautovic isn't creative in the sense that a say Mata, Pienaar or that type of player is/was.

However, if it's the way RK wants to go then it's fine by me, and he adds further competition. I think Kev could have a top year this season though, while Del could also be in for a big one as well so it'd be interesting to see how they all fit in.

Koeman does rarely stick to the same formation for a long run of games though (unless it's a winning streak) and usually changes system based on the opposition, so I imagine there'd be plenty of rotation.

Again, you stalk me and berate me because I don't share the same opinon of a football player as you.

It's very immature. Let me have my opinion for the love of god.

Anyway, let's get back to Anautovic, we have gone way off topic and probably giving the mods a headache.

I think Arnautovic would prove to be a very astute bit of business. He isn't the first name that anyone would have thought of but for 12.5 mill in this crazy market that represents excellent value for a midfielder who will chip in with at least 8 goals from the wing and assists. It would not surprise me if we start the season with Arnautovic and Mirallas on the wings with Deulofeu pushed further up and closer to Lukaku and Barkley dropping deeper than the 10 role he played for much of last year. If you think about the goal threat that we then have available and throw in a couple of goals from Baines and Funes Mori we should not be struggling to score against anyone. As Groucho said above just because the first real signing isnt a name doesn't mean to say we arent going to go out and buy big name players. It might not be a fashionable signing but I bet Leicester fans weren't overly enthused when they bought some no mark called Kante in to replace Cambiasso and were wondering what was going on when they signed Villa reject Marc Albrighton. Arnautovic seems to me to have a lot of the things that we lack as a squad, height, goalthreat, snide and yes does appear to be a bit of a doorhandle but maybe we need a few characters added to the mix. Everton are too nice, we need some narks and people who are going to question referee decisions rather than meekly take decisions going against us.

Clue to him is the username

Angel di Maria fanboy from when he was at United I reckon

Slags RAWK off every chance

Only bothered to join the Everton forums a few weeks ago - depite apparently reading all RAWK match threads when they get beat for ten years

Lost his [Poor language removed] majorly over Mata leaving United and is desperate for him to stay

Never said a single bad word againt the Mancs...

All this talk of a playmaker isn't going to happen so long as Ross Barkley is played as the no 10 which he will be under Koeman. Koeman plays with his wingers largely inverted forwards (Long and Mane) Arnautovic plays very similar to Long and I think Deulofeu will be utilised similar to Mane hence why he was played as a striker against Barnsley, obviously he'll most likely stay out wide with Lukaku in the centre but for me he'll certainly get forward more rather than staying wide and whipping crosses In all of the time.

OK, not that I have to explain myself to you but I will.

Arnautovic is a bang average Stoke City player.

Witsel, admitedly from the little I have seen of him, isn't anything special.

Mata is staying at Man Utd.

So, 2 players I have heavily criticised, no? When this Moshi fellow took over, we all thought we'd be competing with Man City, Chelsea and Man Utd for players. We were all excited about the possibility of bringing in world class names and quality.

Instead, we're yet again eating at the local chippy whilst Man City etc are dining out at expensive restaurants.

I am not apologising for our lack of transfer activity or the lack of quality we are apparently persuing. It's same old Everton I am afraid and I am yet to be proved wrong.

Arnautovic or Kone/Niasse/McGeady?

If you answer the latter 3 then you have literally no idea, this is a squad game and we have lost plenty and need to bring in replacements for the poorer players.... We started games with Kone on the wing lid, you cannot tell me you would prefer that then Arnautovic out there.
