Realistically, Travers was sent out on loan and did okay, but not well enough to achieve his dream of getting a job as a number one at the top flight. That scenario is so improbable, and this past season was his chance to make it happen. It didn't. It probably wouldn't be a tough pill to swallow to backup a 31 year old keeper for Everton rather than a 25 year old keeper for Bournemouth.
