Why hasn't he been sent on gardening leave this weekend after he missed Skrtel punching the ball? Incredible that there has been no real reaction calling for him to be sent to the lower leagues. Seems like if you give something against the RS, then you are forced to sit out the next week, but if you give them a dodgy pen or don't give one against them you get the biggest game the next week. Amazing.
The best one was when they got a written apology for a penalty being awarded against them.

I'm confused, your complaining that we have a RS fan ref? RS hate Man U more then us, he give us 3 pens

he's only been appointed as referee for Everton vs Man United.....

you couldn't make this stuff up....
Blatant kopite given the reigns for one of Liverpool's biggest games on - you couldn't make it up indeed - the 25th anniversary on Sunday, now given our game the week after. Ludicrous

I've changed my mind, just read up about some of his previous decisions, and he's probably gifted United as many as Liverpool fs.

1. Pedro Mendes goal that was miles over the line, but wasn't given against Spurs.
2. The Nani goal after a clear, deliberate handball that was given, also against Spurs

Don't know why the F.A allows these corrupt officials to continue refereeing. The guy clearly has a gambling problem of some sort. Can be the only explanation.

He was banned by the fa for his "business dealings" and then got mysteriously 're instated

We're the only club to call him out to the FA on his corruptness. He's waiting for his chance to do us again, no doubt in my mind. And he won't be arsed about doing it as there are no consequences for a bent ref whatsoever.

Did you see the hand ball first time around? Because nobody else around it did me, the city players and Gary Neville included. And he sent their first choice midfielder off as well resulting in him missing the majority of their run in, although that part doesn't fit with the script does it?
I know I'm starting to sound like an apologist for them and I'm really not but I wish we wouldn't nit pick the bits that suit our agenda whilst completely disregarding those that do not. <<< this is the single biggest reason I dislike their fans as a whole and I can't stand it when out fans carry on in the same way.

Anyway, there's no way he will give a contentious decision at GP with all eyes watching. Certainly not without the honest belief that it's the right decision. The performance from him in the Derby was one of the worst I've seen (Can anybody remember Eddy Walthemstowe's performance against Chelsea, for me that's the worst I've seen against us) and honestly spawned my hatred for that lot more than anything else but there's a reason he wasn't allowed to ref is for so long and somebody at the FA must have put the blocks on him reffing us. He's very much the golden boy of Pl refs now and will fancy a World Cup gig once Webb packs it in so I think he will be very, very careful.

"You don't give penalties against Liverpool in the last minute" - his words to Moyes allegedly.

Amazing he has been allowed to continue to referee, and continue not to give penalties against Liverpool!

He had no option but to send off Henderson for an over the top tackle. As far as the punch goes he is the referee that is suppose to be in the position to see infringements of this magnitude. At Old Trafford he was 10 yards away from Sturridge when he blatantly dived, he had a clear view because no one was in his way. There was no media attack on him for this or for missing Johnson's blatant 'Raphael' handball. But Taylor gets sent to the bench for giving the West Ham goal.

Gary Neville hasn't been trained to be a referee so why should he be better at refereeing that a Premier League ref. How do we know why the City players never claimed, maybe they knew they wouldn't get a penalty. Or maybe they just wanted to get on with it because they were chasing a goal. I didn't see it live, as I went to Wembley to watch Hull City and only saw the first half in a pub. Saw it later on TV and how Clattenberg never saw it or the assistant was unbelievable.

Clattenberg told Suarez to get up of the ground. Why was he on the ground? He dived. Referees have been told to book players for simulation but he refused to give Suarez a second booking. Why? Was it because he knew that Suarez would miss part of the run in and he didn't want to be hammered by the RS media.

3 pens and a rc at old trafford mate vs the rs - obviously under the spotlight
The derby - need i say more about that performance - knew he was in the spotlight then too
The game against city - 2 stonewall pens turned down for city, one that would have seen them 100% certain to draw the game, and deciding to ignore the rules of the game about Suarez getting a second yellow - no bigger spotlight game this season than that one

He doesn't care as the FA have his back and its beyond a joke, he will favour whichever team he would rather see win, its the Clattenberg way

One of those games involved us

I don't give a flying one about Utd/City/Liverpool games unless they involve us

He had a nightmare (Understatement) in the Derby, He's reffed one game since (Southampton) and he was fine

Lets just wait and see
