Just to play devil's advocate on this, players and agents like it when clubs keep coming back for players - it makes them feel wanted. This can come in handy when trying to convince players to come, and let's face it, we are not an attractive proposition at all. So that in itself is not a bad thing.

It was also what happened with Ndiaye, and I think we'd all agree that he has been a fantastic signing.

If he’s got chronic season-ending injury problems after 1 year at the club then yes, I think sadly we could call him that.
