Transfer Rumour Marcos Rojo

He was moved on because he's not very good.

Keane, for all his faults, showed much more at Burnley - defensively - than Mori ever did here.

Can we stop the revisionism. Mori was an accident waiting to happen most times. He was dreadful every game he played for us last season (not a lot due to injury I know) and in the season before that (remember that 5-0 drubbing at Chelsea when he was at fault for like three goals?).

I liked him, wanted him to do well, but he just wasn't great. Keane needs binning as well, but I can understand the club wanting to try and get a tune out of a defender we spent £25m on 12 months ago.
Agree on Keane, as for Mori you are right that is why we sold him but it seems we are now linked with somone who also isnt very good and costs more, its crazy.

If we can get Lascelles great, but no point getting more rejects, we need to go for players clubs would like to keep, such as Richarlison, not deadwood

Rojo would be decent if he was with someone else. As it is if we are desperate and can't get anyone else in I'd take him for 15-20m better than what we have and is a nasty snide it's a bit of what we need back there. Currently we have absolute rot.

Don't think anyone would suggest Mori was the finished article, but put him next to Keane and there is only one choice.Silva is allegedly a top coach and motivator,Mori was apart from his obvious kamikaze failings, fast, strong, brave and good in the air.Four things that Keane isn't.If Silva had worked with him for a few weeks and then decided he wasn't what he wanted fair enough, but to persevere with a player who looks like he wears lead divers boots?

The market has been distorted by Liverpool buying Van Dijk. They put 25 million on the world record fee. Now Maguire is valued at 60 million. This is a Leicester player who has never played in the CL. Mawson moved for 25 Mill. Against those fees why wouldn’t United ask for 30 for an Argentine international with CL experience?

They can ask for what they want. However a lad who has done his cruciate, is about 6th choice for them, aged 28 (significantly older than the others you've mentioned above) should not be someone we are paying 30 million for mate. We need to learn our lesson from Schneiderlin (who had international caps) Bolasie & Williams and stop paying big money for guys who have little up-sell.

Bid is acceptable to UTD but!

Apparently a problem on wages, wants more than UTD pay him.

For me not really sure would rather we go after Lascelles get more years out of him.

The only decent centre backs we've signed in the last 5 years or so both came from Barnsley.

Surely there has to be some rough diamonds who we can polish and take the step up? I'm not against buying an experienced big money CB but going low key has worked better over the years (Jagielka, Lescott, Yobo and Distin).
