Actually the club have said nothing. There is a lot of talk in the media about the next managerial sacking, but none of the clubs involved have said anything. It is all speculation. The press would love Moyes back at Everton...they could say we've found our level, and if Moyes goes to the Hammers, the headline will be 'Moyes snubs Everton'
The club could kill all silly media speculation very easily by making a statement explaining their position. They don't want to because they don't have a clue what they're doing. Instead they have remained silent and have brought this media circus on themselves.

He still has a presser to do yet too!!

Shame on this club for this, the silence is crazy.

What should the club be saying?

I mean what can they say?

Its quite clear hes still in a job, should they tweet that hourly? Daily? Weekly?

They wont publically back him, who the hell publically backs a manager 1 game away from the sack?

The likelihood (though sad to say) is that Leicester will brush us aside meaning the touchline at Anfield next week will be a very lonely place for Silva.

The board and their silence speak volumes. It's clear he's being hung out to dry (die) here. If he wasn't, somebody (Kenwright / Moshiri / Brands / DBB) would have come out and told us he's got until the end of the season, we've every faith in the fella, etc etc.

My reading of the situation, though probably miles off, would be that Brands hasn't been off the blower to prospective managers since Watford. I'm sure he's been to Poch & Rafael but you have to wonder whether they'd even entertain a chat let alone look at a contract.

It's not fair on us or Silva to go to the RS with him in charge on the back on another defeat.

….. and I definitely do not want Moyes or Howe.

They have said naff all though!

That is a disgrace, not the Everton I was brought up with. Maybe they want Silva to walk, but no statement at all apart from BS, through Sky is not how Everton would have done their business!

Well obviously, but undermining our already crap manager is hardly a helpful move from the club is it!

I dont see how hes being undermined personally.

The club isnt making up all the stories, thats The Mirror, The Mail and other cesspit journos.

He will have had meetings with the people at the club, he will know what his position is.

I mean if he needs telling that his job is under threat with the team sitting in 16th hes not just a crap manager, hes also a total moron.

Again what should they say?

A statement saying "Marco Silva is still Everton manager"?

That undermines him more than saying nothing.
