I’d love 2 strikers but I’d rather we went really big on one game changer if we could attract them.

I have no idea who...I’d like Lacazette (probably not available) or Gabriel Jesus (maybe available but would take some doing) but maybe Marcel and Marco have something even better lined up from abroad.

Ismaila Sarr & Diego Costa would be decent - strength and speed, Costa the impact sub. Sarr can even play wide when Walcott f/o to Norwich.

If not Sarr, perhaps Ben Yedder or Toko Ekambi. They can't all be terrible from La Liga, which has had its day on the European scene - even if Barca avoid the arpse end of a bargain with Satan.

He's the real deal this fella. To transform, and he has transformed this side, in to the style of team we all want to watch in 12 months is incredible.

Remember, we were possibly the worst team to watch in the league when he took over, whilst picking up 8 clean sheets out of the last 9 at Goodison, including games against 4 of the "top 6" is something else.

He's always performed well in his career though. We'll be lucky if we have him this time next year.

I’m always interested as to why there is a sudden lack of Silva detractors on here after a win. Where are the “he’s got no proven record”.....”all he’s ever done is shipped goals at Watford and Hull”....”he’s a rubbish recruit by the club”......”I want him sacked”......
As I said in December, he needs another summer transfer window to get his own team in place. I also said his signings have been very decent so far. He needs time.

The end to the season has got me quietly excited for the summer and next season but I do this evety year and we bugger it up. It's been topsy turvy but I do like the way we play, not going to lie. just need to get better on the road and we might finally get to where we want to be.
