The thing for me is the whole not beating top 6 sides has been a stick to beat both the club and our managers with for years, so it’s a little unfair not to give the manager who’s managed to do it multiple times in a few weeks a good bit of credit. We can’t continually move the goalposts or we’ll never be happy.
However the caveat to this is not so much the results themselves but just the fact it was a bloody disgrace that we had such a poor top 6 record to begin with. Look at some of the results this season alone- palace won at the etihad, Leicester just beat Arsenal 3-0 and beat City before Christmas, West Ham 1-0 Spurs and Wolves have done it fairly frequently all season. It really isn’t a big deal, but I think our lack of success in these fixtures has led to maybe a slight exaggeration in the bigging up of the recent results we’ve had.
However like I said the record has been a tool to knock the club, players and staff for a long time so I don’t think anyone should take these results away from them. Especially as well because we fully deserved to win- especially in the United and Arsenal games. Is it our fault if they turn up and play poorly? No, we do what good teams do and punish your opponents. It basically all goes back to Leicester winning the league. You have to be ready to capitalise if your opponents, who may on paper be better than you, are weak.

We beat three top 6 sides convincingly. Why look for negatives?
We can knock all this on the head.
So beating a top 6 side at home is not ok because they are crap away
However drawing away with a side with the second worst home record in the division is good
