Fair enough mate. I think a lot of us are fed up with hire/fire that we have had the last few seasons. And some are prepared to give the bloke some slack based on the mess he inherited, and see what Brands can deliver, then reassess.

Instead of sack him if we lose the next game.

I dont mind the hiring and firing providing the next bloke through the door has the credentials to take us forward! Im actually excited to see who Brands would target when the time comes as he's certainly a football man compared to Moshiri.

I can see why some fans want to give him a second season I just have massive reservations that anything will change.

We can sign a good striker but if theirs still no decent service and kamikaze defending from set pieces it wont mean much in terms of results and he's not showing that he's improving on either at the moment!

Lets just hope for the 3 points sunday and take it from there

After seeing Jags Marshall the defence properly against Cardiff and the benefits of that leadership... Silva or brands need to find a new anchorman to play with Keane or Mina..

Same as what vvd has done to them lot

Before he turned up they were woeful.. Now the tightest defence in the league

I just don't think we have that togetherness we once had under Moyes. That was special. Players like Carsley, Cahill, Arteta, we don't have that now. There was always a good feeling around the place but it's gone. I'm not advocating a return for Moyes, his time was then. He just knew how to make the players 'fit'. If that makes sense. All I see now is individuals.

It is going to take a lot more than a 3 - 0 win against a cack team to convince me that he is the right man for the job. His performance for the past 3 months has been very poor imo. Being 2 points ahead of this time last season isnt anything to get excited about as we were abysmal last season too and 2 points better off is not even 1 win in difference, its nowt at all.

The only way he can redeem himself this season for me is to put in a good performance against the RS (even if we get beaten) and then have a decent run in till the end of the season and fight for 7th place. Even then i am going to be very weary of the risk of another 3 month slump next season.

Lets see what he is made of starting from Sunday.

Sad thing is we have gone from creating chances (Away at Arsenal and Man U) and still losing,to not creating much at all,I take on board your opinions on the defense, but the conceding of goals from set pieces has resulted in us missing out in a season were the draw gave us the best chance in progressing in the FA Cup that we've had in some time.Could be I read too much into the new Moshiri dynasty and although I never expected to be challenging the big boys overnight,I didn't expect us to be scrapping for points at this stage of the season.Maybe I'm still suffering from Post Wimbledon stress disorder.

First of all, creating and preventing chances don't matter, man, it's POINTS!!!!!!!!!! But in all seriousness, I think we've been a considerably better team on both sides of the ball, because we were dreadful last year.

But since we can't solely judge offense vs. defense on POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! my eyes tell me we've had a lot of chances to score and don't seem to be converting (need a STUD CF), especially with the number of crosses we whip into the box. Our squad has changed a bit, but the style of play is soooo different, its been a significant adjustment. I also think Pickford has been absolute crap whereas last year I think he was really REALLY good and saved our tails rather often.

Here are some stats that I think back up some of those allegations, form your own judgments.

OFFENSE > THIS YEAR vs. LAST YEAR

GOALS (8th vs. 12th)

CHANCES CREATED (11th vs. 18th)

SHOTS ATTEMPTS (11th vs. 19th)

SHOT CONVERSION (12th vs. 7th)

----

DEFENSE > THIS YEAR vs. LAST YEAR

GOAL CONCEDED (10th vs. 14th)

SHOTS AGAINST (4th vs. 15th)

SAVES PER GOAL (18th vs. 5th)

Let’s not get giddy lads because we beat Cardiff.

Judge him on his overall performance as s manager thus far, which is average and very uninspiring.

Watford stuffed Cardiff then suffered a complete drubbing from that lot, I wouldn’t be surprised if we followed suit.

Why not, considering how you lot were banging on about how we were guaranteed to lose and not pick up another win all season?

So some 'fans' want us to lose to get Silva sacked

Some 'fans' want us to win but if we lose they want him sacked

Its the same every week...

'Fans' saying they have been patient (lol)

What kind of world do some 'fans' live in...
