I think the Cardiff game is pretty big. He's had two weeks to prepare the squad for it and they aren't great. If we get turned over there, followed by Liverpool taking a stroll around Goodison for three points I think there are grounds for him to be sacked.

My biggest worry is the remaining fixtures. It's highly unlikely we will be dragged into a relegation battle but there are so few games that this squad look capable of winning in the run in.

A lot. We are no where near the same level as the top 6, and that is hardly the sole responsibility of the manager.

Has he got the players in the squad playing to their potential? Are we in a better situation than when he arrived? Do you think it will improve next season? These are the questions that need to be asked and I think the answer to all three is no.

I am not afraid to admit, rightly or wrongly that we are in free fall, the worst run almost in the division, I've seen teams in these sorts of runs go down. I for one am worried at this point.

Please please please prove me wrong Silva, show me you aren't a shot fighter.

Lose the next 2 and we could be mate. I don’t think we will go down but we don’t look to have much fight in us at the minute

I still say give him the chance to turn it around until the end of the season. If he doesn’t we can quietly replace him, mutual agreement job, everyone saves face. If he does turn it around then great. As I’ve said many times before, the problems at this club run far deeper than Marco, Koeman and Walsh screwed us royally.

All that said, if we lose the next two I suspect Farhad will wield the axe.

There’s a select few on here who deffo want us to lose on Tuesday, just so they can prove that they’re right.

Sad.

Think its more to do with wanting us to lose so this Clown gets his marching orders, I dont think thats sad I think thats the sign of people hurting because of the state of our beloved football club and what it has been reduced to.

Silva is not the man, as Ive said in a previous post. Give me one positive that Silva is the man for the job in the long run? Havent been given any as yet, if thats not a sign its time to go then what is?

Do we want to gamble on next season being as bad as this? OR get a manager with a proven record so at least we can start next season with some optimism..

I know Cardiff got nailed by Watford but looking at the way they were whipping balls in to the box has me worried.... We have every chance of winning this one but Cardiff will be up for it after getting a spanking at home. Wonder if we can stand up to that?

I'd give him a chance if he fulfilled these 3.
A good run of wins, At least 3/5 games.
Better Football overall back to pre derby Everton.
Beating Liverpool.

I dont think the football and results pre Derby were actually all that impressive, I know a lot will agree with me as we`ve disproved this with statistics and from the match day going Evertonian........

The results might not have been but the Football was 100% better, The results would have came to us if we kept that style throughout the season, We went to Anfield/Chelsea/Old Trafford/Emirates with confidence and we were really unlucky to get 1 point from them games due to missed chances or just being really unlucky with refs/Pickford.

He has got rid of a number of players who were of no use to us and a drain on the club. There is still a way to go on that front but I think that is a positive thing.
