I believe the mistakes at the moment are mostly down to the players failings rather than Silva. Of course it is his ultimate responsibility to correct it , but time is required to allow him to repair the problems.
I believe we currently have the worst set of centre backs I have ever seen at the club, although I haven’t seen enough of Mina to be fair.
Ranieri’s success ,whilst impressive ,owed as much to fortune as skill. He essentially inherited a side assembled by a less storied manager primarily to stave off relegation. His appointment gave them the experience needed to take advantage of the failings of the traditional top clubs that season and Spurs lacked experience themselves and bottled it. Respect is due to them though.
It was comparable to the season Moyes guided us,by the skin of our teeth, to 4th.
In both cases the success was flimsy and proved unsustainable. We were bundled out of the Champions League at the first hurdle and finished 11th.
Leicester similarly were unable to repeat their performance and Ranieri was ignominiously dismissed.
For both clubs success proved ephemeral and fleeting and was not evidence of enduring improvement.
It is sustainable and prolonged success I crave for our club, and I am willing to be patient a while longer in the hope we can achieve it.

It,s completely flawed thinking to look at one part of the problem and ignore the gigantic elephant of in-capability in the room...the manager.

Does this man have any motivational qualities?
About as many motivational qualities as this fella.

Building a team is not merely spending money on players, but having the time to blend those players into a functioning team. Frustratingly this always takes time it isn’t achieved overnight nor indeed within 1 season.
Esperito is in his second season at Wolves and has been well backed.
Whoever is in charge of our team will face the same problems. We have been a dysfunctional unit since the failure of Martinez who effectively bequeathed us a side containing remnants of Moyes more defensive side and his own more possession inclined players. Koeman and Walsh attempting to correct the inherent imbalance in the side seemingly conspired to make it worse.
It is now the lack of continuity which is threatening our future hopes.
We need to give this manager time and support to address these issues and to attempt, with Brands assistance, to create a cohesive team.
Not if he is loitering around relegation zone and demotivating players by his ignorance and ineptitude...

Big couple of games coming up for Silva i reckon. If we lose the next 2 games i.e Cardiff away and RS at home and accompanied with poor performances, there is a strong possibility he is going to be in real trouble and could possibly be removed from his post. It is fine and dandy to try and give the man time but no club can continue to lose almost every game and not do something about it. On the other hand if we win both of them games then the pressure will ease slightly and he should be fine until at least the end of the season.

Fingers crossed that we win both games, not that i want to keep Silva because i dont but because i am sick to death of watching my team lose almost every single football match and i want to get excited about them again regardless of who is in charge.

I think they should just tell the media team to keep schtum until we actually see any hard work and focus.

Why.

I'm as annoyed with Everton as anyone else at the moment.

But this ludicrous thing of getting annoyed at pics and videos being put out is dead weird. The media team have a job to do, just like anyone else. Fans moan when there isn't enough communication.

This is gut renching. Week in week out players climbing all over each other having a great old time at training.

Comes around to kick off and they’ll all hiding, all the older pros no where to be seen. Gutless spineless individuals like schneiderlin, picking up 120k a week and not even producing enough to be on the bench. A 20 year old kid, in and out of the squad all season and named Captain - a bloke who skateboards in his spare time. Brilliant Marco. Way to generate some momentum with an average kid as captain.

Silva is out of his depth, results prove it. Loss after loss. Time to get shut.
